This projector is excellent at grayscale OOTB. The most minimal DeltaE error is 2.3 (which is not even noticed by experienced eyes). It also showed subtle variations in colors, like when Adam struck the light stick against the ground.
Other features include 3D Support Keystone Correction, 3D Support and Automatic Focus. These features simplify installation. It also supports the standard BenQ configuration options. It does not support vertical focus or lens shift. Subjectively, I found that the GP500 had very accurate grayscale OOTB. I observed a DeltaE value of 2.3 which is lower than the amount visible to the human eye. This is pretty good. The Dynamic Contrast function really added the depth to Life of Pi's few night scenes and the color display was fantastic. Avatar looked great as well.

The auto-focus feature was extremely fast and efficient creating clear, crisp images that had lots of distinct shades. It struggled with the dark scenes at night in Life of Pi but overall it created a cinematic vibe.
There aren't any race-related graphics for the GP500, but you can buy Airoh Sectors and Cosmos in a black finish. You can also buy it with Rockstar, Drive and Check graphics for a more focused track appearance.

The GP500 White has a number of features that enhance the user experience, such as Keystone and Corner Fit. Corner Fit is an image warping function that can be used digitally. These can be beneficial for less-than-ideal installs as they make it easier to display a flat image. However, they could degrade the image quality. This is an important consideration to be aware of. The GP500 produced very clean and distinct colors, and also had a great grayscale performance OOTB.
